Remind me to rethink whether I want to do another poetry collection, though. Cats, Dogs and Feathered Gods was really difficult to get the formatting right. I like to have unusual setting-out for poems and Kindle wasn’t always happy about it LOL Where Sunflowers Grow was also a bit difficult to get the formatting right because (yet, again) I like to experiment with how something looks visually. Ashgrove Park has been professionally designed with chapter motifs and drop caps (very pleased with it).
So, now it’s onto book number two in the Jack & Bea Mystery series. Ashgrove Park is the first book, On Jacaranda Street is the second in the series, and Moon Silver Hill is book number three.
I work as an editor for a Canadian publisher, so I’m not sure where I’ll find the time to write. I took last year off (well, really that was thanks to COVID-19), and there was plenty of time to whip up books. But as they say, where there’s a will, there’s a way.
